“I must go down to the sea again, to the lonely sea and the sky; and all I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by.” -John Mansfield I thought this quote appropriate for the tale that now begins on these pages. This whole endeavour is a lot like a great unknown sea journey. Embarking on drawing and writing, what is going to become an ever evolving epic, long form tale of adventure, fathers, sons, robots, pirates and human nature is a big, big endeavour. I don't know if I'll be able to keep up the pace, but I'm starting with a once weekly update. This has been my baby for a long time, and it is scary giving birth to this thing in a very, very real way. Fears of rejection and failure are already seeping in. That's probably why this was posted late already. Off to a good start already, I suppose. The art and the style are going to be evolving as time goes on. Later pages may look radically different than this very first page. I'm always looking for feedback so let me know what you think. Thanks to my loving and supportive girlfriend and all the friends who have been with me on this project. They've been waiting a long time for this, so I hope I don't dissapoint. Peace friends. May the wind always be in your sails. |
